Areas We Work In
We partner with government offices, academic institutions, public and private sector organisations to ensure equity of access to eye screening and treatment using technology to reduce health inequalities and link poorer communities to our international network of eye-health experts.

Eye Health
ABALON Trust will provide access to high-quality eye screening and treatment in marginalised communities internationally.

Education and training
Many of main causes of sight loss in adults is avoidable if they are detected early. Every year, ABALON Trust runs eye camps in medically underserved communities so that adults and their families have the opportunity to access eye clinics for eye checks and treatment by trained Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.

Research and innovation
It is our commitment to innovation that sets ABALON Trust apart from other eye care charities by supporting clinical trials and validation for new eye health technology.

Sustainable practice
Working in partnership with local communities, eye health experts and an international network of supporters that volunteer, raise funds and resources to projects that aim to to deliver universal eye care services and create social entrepreneurship.

Who We Work With
These four pillars of work are then directed to deliver eye health protection to four principal population groups:
