On Friday, 29 October ABALON Trustee, Charlene Wilson, attend the Living Loss 10th Anniversary Dinner hosted by Paster Sharon Townsend and Dorothy Dwyer, with live music, Caribbean food and special guests.
Living Loss helps people overcome all kinds of loss in their life whether it is the loss of a job, health or a loved one. It provides training for churches and communities groups that want to provide these services. Living Loss also works directly with bereaved people. The pandemic reinforced the for organisations like Living Loss.
ABALON Trust worked closely with Living during the pandemic to provide support to our network via an online group and using a charitable grant from the M&S charitable foundation. We co-delivered a programme of support to people with Diabetes from the Caribbean community that had been bereaved or had suffered the loss of a loved one with diabetes.
