ABALON Chief Executive, Mr Adam Mapani, MBE and Medical Director, Dr Charles Pierce spoke at the World Sight Day online lecture: “Combating Blindness due to Diabetic Eye Disease” on Sunday, 17 October 2021.
The lecture, hosted by The University of the West Indies (UWI) and the Barbados Diabetes Foundation, was attended by more than 80 senior healthcare professionals from academic institutions, hospitals and clinics from across the Caribbean.
